Triple B Balm: The Best Stuff on Earth

Is there anything worse than itchy, painful, irritated skin? From red-rashed baby bottoms and summertime bug bites to Michigan’s world-renowned wintertime dryness and barnyard cuts and scrapes, our family has seen our fair share of skin issues over the years. Our secret weapon? Triple B Balm

Dancing Feathers Farm’s Triple B Balm began as an answer to severe, seemingly-incurable diaper rashes. Both our babies suffered and neither responded to over-the-counter or prescription creams. We’d heard wonderful things about the healing properties of shea butter and coconut oil, so we decided to give it a try.

Within a few days of using Triple B Balm with every diaper change, our babies’ rashes completely cleared up. The results were so incredible, we began sharing little jars of Triple B Balm with friends and neighbors. Soon enough, we had multiple people returning to stock up on more. They loved our balm, too!

Triple B Balm is made with Tropical Traditions coconut oil – one of the best, purest suppliers of coconut oil on this earth. We blend it with ethically-sourced, sustainable shea butter from FairTaleGhana and add in a little vitamin E oil, beeswax, and essential oils for scent and healing properties. Each jar is hand-blended to create a smooth, water-repelling balm that soothes irritations and supports the skin’s healing process.

We use Triple B Balm daily on our farm. It’s great for:

  • Diaper rashes
  • Chapped skin (try our essential-oil-free blend to relieve pain and dryness from breastfeeding)
  • Cuts and scrapes
  • Bug bites
  • Acne
  • Dryness on the face, feet, or hands
  • Side effects from chemotherapy or diabetes
  • After-shave skin calming

Our Triple B Balm is good for humans and animals of all ages, but we do recommend going with an essential-oil-free blend if breastfeeding, applying to babies, or applying to animals that may lick the site. We only use a small amount of essential oil in our scented balm blends, but essential oils are powerful; it’s always best to err on the side of caution when applying essential oils to kiddos and pets.

A tiny bit of Triple B Balm goes a very long way. We recommend starting with a small jar to see how you like it, then upgrading to the large jar for a nice price discount per ounce. Don’t forget to get a $5 coupon for your next full-sized jar of Triple B Balm by snapping a photo of your empty, creative recycled balm jar ideas and uploading them to Instagram. We look forward to winter every year as January is the one month per year we get to relax from growing, producing, and planning. This winter, we had the delightful opportunity to witness the birth of two baby goats only one day before Valentine's Day! Our herd queen...
